NSRCC @ 10 Changi Coast Walk (19/05/12)

Venue: NSRCC @ 10 Changi Coast Walk
Date: 19/05/2012
Theme: Azure Blue (Blue Roses)
Bride & Groom: Dan Dan & Janson

Enquiry from Janson(Groom) was received on the 9/4 and they confirmed us as their wedding florist on the 18/4.

Janson was particularly interested in our Adoration Romance Package for the Azure Blue Theme. Check out http://www.florist.sg/wedding-decoration-packages/rom-wedding-decor-packages/adoration-romance-azure-blue/ for more details on this package.

We uses wedding flowers like cream roses, blue hydrangeas and white eustomas for our Azure Blue Theme.
Everything was going according to plan when we received news from our supplier that hydrangea coming in that week was not in very good shape.

After a quick discussion with our designer, we decided to replace the blue hydrangeas with blue roses instead. Thou the cost was much higher, we still decided to go ahead as we do not want to compromise on the quality of our fresh flowers.

We notified Janson about the changes and he was alright with the changes. Initially, he wanted to use the chairs from NSRCC. However, the effect will not be that nice as there is no chair cover to cover the chairs.

Heeding our advise, Janson decided to rent our cushion chairs with chair covers instead. You may check out Rental of Solemnisation Table & Chairs for more details.

The big day arrived pretty fast and there we were setting up the solemnsiation decor over at NSRCC. The moment we stepped into the unit, we were greeted by lots of balloons tied up together hanging on the wall!

Balloon Decor Acting as Backdrop

We were told that the balloons decor was DIY by the groom and friends! Wow.. It was definitely not easy to blow around 200 balloons and tying them together!

Anyway we took about 45 mins and our decor was completed!

SAF Yacht Club @ Tanah Merah (18/05/12)

Venue: SAF Yacht Club @ Tanah Merah
Date: 18/05/2012
Theme: Sweet Surreal
Bride & Groom: Brenda & Desmond

Beep Beep! Glanced over to my iPhone and realised I got an SMS.
Do a quick check while the green man is blinking and realised it was from Kelvin (my ex schoolmate). He had referred Desmond (his colleague) to us for his big day decorations!

It was on the 18/05 over at SAF Yacht Club.Have a quick discussion over the phone with Desmond to know more on his requirements. Some photos of the venue from him also helped us a lot in understanding the place and its surroundings.

With the photos and requirements from the Groom, we sat down together with our designer to draft out a decor proposal which will best suit the venue itself.

We took quite a while (few weeks) to iron out the details and decor before we finally met up with the bride & groom over at our office on 09/04 to have a final discussion and confirmation.

Cherishing Romance Package together with some other add-ons decors were selected. Check out http://www.florist.sg/wedding-decoration-packages/rom-wedding-decor-packages/cherishing-romance-sweet-surreal/ for more details on our Cherishing Romance Package.

Soon the big day(18/05) arrived! It was a hot sunny afternoon as we packed up our barang barang and took a long drive to SAF Yacht Club!

Once we reached, we immediately moved all our fresh flowers under the shade over at the restaurant. This is very important to ensure the freshness of our fresh flowers.

While waiting for the staffs over at the restaurant to clear the area, we were approached by the owner of the Rising Tide Charters. She was impressed with our fresh flowers and wanted to have a collaboration with us!

Back to the setup, we started unloading our inventories after the area was cleared.

The table cloth/skirting and chair covers provided by the restaurant is more to the cream/yellowish/gold colour which does not match our theme at all. After some requests, we finally managed to get them all changed to white colour. Phew!
